COURSE DESCRIPTION

I wrote my first story at the age of 9. It was a fantastical world where I had everything I wanted: a fancy house, fancy parties and undying love from the boy of my dreams. While I'd have to wait years to acquire any of those things in the real world, the land of graphite pencil and bleached white paper made them available immediately. Thus began my love affair with writing.

As time passed, dreams changed. Love changed. I changed, but the words were always there. Waiting for life as the melody of a song, the staccato stanza of a poem or in the fragmented sentences of an unfinished story.

If you're here, it's because you love writing as much as I do. You want to deliver your stories in a concise, polished way that connects to readers, but need a bit of guidance in how to do so. Whether creating blog posts, polishing up your first draft or taking the first steps toward committing the world in your head to paper, this course is for you.

Over the years, I've learned a number of lessons about writing and will share the tools to help you write better! By the end of this course, you'll learn:

  • when to use commas
  • the difference between a hyphen and a dash
  • how to choose the right tense for your story

and much more!

Your journey to better writing starts now!
